Jamil Qureshi is one of today's foremost practitioners of performance enhancing psychology and author of The Mind Coach (Random House). He works with a rich diversity of the most talented business, public sector and sports people and teams in the world, from fighter pilots to medics, from Formula 1 racing teams to staff at all levels of an organisation (from the CEO to shop floor).
In 2006, he was appointed as the first-ever official psychologist to work with the European Ryder Cup team by captain Ian Woosnam. They made history in winning by a record-equalling margin. Jamil has worked with 22 golfers inside the top 50 in the world. He’s worked successfully with Premiership football clubs, and the 2009 England cricket squad (who won the Ashes). He is one of only a few external psychologists ever to be allowed to work with astronauts on the NASA Space Programme. His corporate work includes leadership and change programmes for Coca Cola, Hewlett Packard and Emirates Airlines. Jamil also lectures on the prestigious WorldProgram, in the US, UK and China through Ashridge and Fordham Business Schools and Qing Dao University.
A trained magician and comedian Jamil spent two years working with TV’s award winning mind reader, Derren Brown. He is perhaps one of the few people who can claim to have shared a stage with General Peter Pace, Head of US Joint Chiefs of Staff one day and performed stand-up in front of a celebrity audience at the Groucho Club the next.
